I'd like a Powershell script to move files from one folder to another and export the list of files moved to CSV for reporting.
I have a bunch of folders that all have the same folder structure inside - they all have an 'actioned' & 'archive' folder.
I want a script written that looks in each 'actioned' folder and moves it to the 'archive' folder sitting in the same folder.
\\[login to view URL]\news\photos\actioned\* gets moved to \\[login to view URL]\news\photos\archive\*
\\[login to view URL]\news\clips\actioned\* gets moved to \\[login to view URL]\news\clips\archive\*
\\[login to view URL]\news\movies\actioned\* gets moved to \\[login to view URL]\news\movies\archive\*
Etc, there are 20 of these folders all under
\\[login to view URL]\news\*
Lastly I want to export the list of all files moved to csv with.
File path, file name, moved to file path, ddmmyy.
