I'm looking for a shopify developer who could help me tweak the existing theme I have.
I am using the theme Atlantic by PixelUnion versioin 14.01
I would like to implement a feature on my website where generic pictures of my products are displayed. Then, once the customer has selected the variant options (on a button/color swatch that is available), the correct product variant displays for the customer to add it to their cart. At the moment, my theme displays ALL the product variants regardless. When there are 100 product variants (like for a few of my products), it takes ages to scroll to the bottom of the page and is extremely frustrating. I've tried using thumbnails under and on the side, but it still looks really scrappy.
I would like to display generic photos of the product (i.e. what it looks like from different angles, and a few photos of the product in situ) and then to display the variant once the customer has "customised" the product.
Anyway, I found this video on youtube [login to view URL] which looks as if it's doable, but I know I don’t have the competence (nor patience) to DIY it but I was wondering if you guys could give me a quote?
It seems doable but I will have to spend a bit of time adding alt text to all the images, BUT I wondered if you could give me a quote in 2 parts:
- Part 1 : tweaking the theme as per requested
- Part 2 : adding a certain alt text to my product images to coincide with the variant reference numbers
If you're interested and you are a shopify wizard, you can ask me for the password of the website to see what I mean and we can move on from there.
