The 2005 (?) osCommerce shopping cart template that is already imbedded in my website is not in sync with the USPS. i.e. when a customer places and order for an item weighing under one pound, the invoice will NOT show 1st class S/H rates --and jumps to Priority rates. This problem arose after the tech guys at the ISP "fixed" and identical problem with the international shipping-- which came about after the tech guys "put back" the ability to order increments smaller than 1 yard... About a month ago I spoke with a tech at the USPS who looked up my account and told me that the defaults had not been set correctly. He said he fixed them and told me that if my current ISP would download the set-up once more, that everything would work. However the ISP guys refused to do this and now deny me access to their tech "team." If I provide the passwords to the admin end, can you go in and troubleshoot or "repair" this? Or, is the problem inherently connected to the ISP and not possible? Do I have to first move the entire site to another ISP before doing the work? Would it help for the future to go in and update the 2005 template to a newer version? Is that even possible? Or, do I have to dump the entire site and start over...? I am a small business, but I would like someone to investigate the situation and assess-- and possibly fix it. If consultation and actual work are two separate fees, please advise.
