This project involves converting an existing web app to Silverlight. The current application was built in ASP.NET. The application allows organizations to setup meetings (title, date, time and user role) and attach documents to those meetings. Users of the service login to the site and click on the meeting title to access the documents. Currently, users are able to view meeting documents via browser pdf plugin. Meeting data and documents are stored in a remote SQL database.
The application home tab (after login) will list upcoming meetings. Clicking on a meeting title will take the user to the Meeting Detail page where the documents for the meeting will be listed on the left side. Clicking on a document will bring that document up for viewing on the right hand side. This will allow users to quickly move between documents.
The management tab will allows administrators to add and edit meeting data. Once a meeting is in the system administrators will be able to add documents to that meeting. Additionally, the management area should have an easy way to reorder documents (i.e., using drag and drop to move document order).
