Excel spreadsheet to track flat-rate jobs

I am a flat rate auto mechanic who is paid by the job. I would like an excel spreadsheet where I can enter in a work order number, hours per job, and a job description. For example: An oil change and tire rotation would look like:
Work order Units (Hours) Job
1111111 .4 Oil Change
.2 Tire Rotation
1111112 1.0 Tune Up
.1 Change tail light
I would like the units to tally up and display at the top of the screen perhaps, where it would show me a total per each day, and a running weekly total. I would like a seperate column for each day of the week. The time card will be to track a two week period. If the dates could automatically be entered, that would be great too. Any other ideas appreciated, I am very open to suggestions.
