We need a pc-based (or browser-based) app that can capture image(s) from a webcam, and store one, or a group of images, in one database record (or row), and allow viewing, searching and editing of the result. And of course, there will be multiple rows, as the database is expected to grow.
The purpose is for documenting transactions at a retail location - photographing hard copies of documents and accompanying merchandise.
Hopefully, after completion, the project can be easily modified as needed.
Database to live on a Windows server. Input and/or viewing from multiple networked workstations. And the database does NOT need to be encrypted. View-locations will be selectable read-only or read-write-modify, by password.
Does NOT need to be active (e.g. MySQL or MSSQL-based) database.
Project should run under XP and Windows 7 at the least.
If interested, I would like a rough estimate of cost, OR you may request more information. We are working on a comprehensive spec for the project.
Again, feel free to respond with questions. When a detailed specification is ready, it will be sent to you, if you've expressed interest, and we have chosen to forward it to you.
The bid amounts posted are only guidelines. Feel free to bid whatever you believe will be is required for the project.
