Hi, I'm new to freelancing, but I have 19 years of experience in IT and software development, including in interfacing with embedded/controller systems (mainly PIC based communication via COM and USB ports) for control and testing purposes.
What you're asking for seems straightforward:
-An app written in Delphi that reads real-time power data from a DataQ DI-730P device with 6 inputs: 3-phase voltage & current
-The interface is parallel port based.
-The app should selectively display graphs of the data that is being read, as well as secondary claculations (eg. RMS, THD, etc.).
-The app should have the ability to save the data automatically at a configurable interval.
-DataQ provides an ActiveX control that can be used to interface with the DI-730P.
There are 3 caveats that somewhat constrain my bid:
1. The 6 graphs must be separate graphs (i.e. all data can't be displayed on one graph) - the reason for this is a limitation of a component in their SDK. It is possible to have the graphs all combined into one, but I would have to raise my bid by $1000.
2. I'll need a bit of time to acquire and become a somewhat familiar with one of DataQ's starter kits (DI-145 or DI-149 model); which I'll use for testing purposes.
3. I can't begin this project until close to end of March (although I can use this time to acquire and become familiar with the starter kit).
If you'd like to discuss further, I'd be happy to do so. Looking forward to providing you my services.
Regards,
Gavin
