This shop wants to automate their business activities. Shop has to maintain its inventory, keep record of their permanent and walk-in customers and their vehicles, keep record of their suppliers, record oil change history of their customer’s vehicles, provide incentive to the customers, offer promotions, and remind customer about the oil change by sms. Auto Lube provides oil change facility to their customers at their door step on their request. This shop appreciates the feedback of the customers to improve quality of service.

Brief description of various features of this project is given below:
1. Customer Management: There are two type of customers walk in customers and regular customers. Walk in customers are those who are not regular customers and come on the shop occasionally. Shop owner must have to save records of regular customers. Walk in customer may or may not provide his information.
2. Oil Change Record
Shop has to save each oil change record. With other info one has to save customer id and vehicle number also.
3. Inventory Management
Keep record of inventory of the shop. Stock status should be updated with each sale and purchase done by the shop
4. Customer Vehicle Record
Shop owner has to maintain the record of all the vehicles of the customers which are served on this shop.
5. Supplier Management
Keep records of all the companies or shops providing oil to this shop.
6. Oil change history
Maintain oil change history with respect to each vehicle.
7. Incentive to the customers
Shop may give incentive to their customers. E.g. no service changes will be charged if customer is getting service third time consecutively for its vehicle
8. Offer Promotion
There may be a promotion for a particular period of time by the shop on oil prices as its marketing strategy.
9. Alert to the customer for oil change
System will alert the customer to change vehicle oil by looking on oil change history of regular customers.
10. Customer’s feedback
Customer may provide its feedback by using a performa which will be entered into the system.
11. Door step facility
If any customer has no time to come on shop then he/she may contact to the shop to provide oil change facility at their door step.
