This is for personal use. I would like to know which addresses in Warren, Clarke, Frederick and Shenandoah Counties in Virginia have cable or fiber internet access (not DSL, telephone or satellite internet access). Could you write a program that would provide this information. Perhaps you could sequentially enter addresses (obtained from the phone book or other source of addresses) into the web sites that have this info to generate a list and/or map of where cable/fiber internet access is available? Once you get this algorithm working, you can freely distribute it or use it yourself. I want to buy a house with cable/fiber internet and I need to know where there is cable so I can better define my search.
The output I am looking for is ( a ) a spread sheet of addresses that have cable/fiber internet access in these 4 counties and ( b ) a map having a layer with "push pins" at each of these addresses (this map should be either Google Earth or World Wind). I don't want the algorithm (so it is not relevant that I use Windows 10). I just want the results. Ideally, I could request an update from you once a month or so. The technology, programming language and approach to obtain the result is entirely up to you.
Although the algorithm might be easy, I do recognize that it might take some time to collect the data.
Ideally, the map would have sufficient but thorough coverage. That is, when a couple hits are found in an apartment complex, there is no need to record data for every apartment in that complex.
