Job Description:
Draw the plan at 1/4"=1'-0". You can alter the scale to fit your paper indicate scale. Its not required to have every detail -- include walls, doors, major features, and windows. Submit a picture of your drawing. See below, you don’t need to show your measurements but be sure to keep this drawing and measurements as it will be used in a latter lab to draw this in the computer.
Select a an object and draw in SolidWorks. Measure dimensions with what you have available (ruler or calipers). SolidWorks will tell you when sketches are fully defined, if you enter more dimensions SolidWorks will declare an error and lines will change colors. Simply undo when this happens.
2 enter the room sketch you did on paper last lab into AutoCad to make the outline to scale in the computer. Show any doorways and windows.
