I am looking for a contractor to assess my brick double garage and attached store, which have been constructed around 30 years ago in Fremantle, to determine whether it is suitable for constructing an additional SIPS one bedroom ancillary dwelling (approx. 50m2) above the existing structure. The current condition of the garage and store is good, and I am open to suggestions regarding any specific requirements or restrictions for additional supporting structure so the ancillary dwelling can be constructed ontop of the existing structure once the roof is removed. I already have basic plans for this project and I am already in receipt of a detailed feature survey and have instructed a planner to contact council with very basic concept plans detailed plans for in principal approval.
