MOST ICCC PROJECTS DO NOT FAIL BECAUSE OF TECHNOLOGY. THEY FAIL BECAUSE VENDORS, STAKEHOLDERS, AND SITE EXECUTION FALL OUT OF SYNC. From your brief, the challenge is not creating another project plan. The real challenge is maintaining alignment between networking, CCTV, command centre infrastructure, OEM deliverables, municipal stakeholders, and on site execution over an eight month period without allowing delays to compound into costly overruns. An ICCC rollout succeeds when issues are identified at the site level before they become management problems. That means structured progress tracking, disciplined vendor coordination, accurate BOQ validation, risk visibility, and clear reporting that allows decisions to be made quickly. My approach would begin with a full review of the current BOQ, project documentation, milestone dependencies, vendor commitments, and site readiness. From there, I would establish a unified execution framework covering progress monitoring, risk management, change control, stakeholder communication, and weekly reporting to ensure every workstream remains synchronized.
