We have recently incorporated a firm to provide consultancy services to the IT software applications industry.
Our direct competitors will be Ernst and Young, KPMG, Accenture and Cap Gemini, to name but a few.
Therefore we need people experienced in cold calling, generating solid, viable and fruitful leads, speaking with and presenting to Blue Chip and FTSE 300 organisations and those confident enough about their sales prowess to work on commission.
Our strategy is three fold:
- to provide a complete outsourced service
- to provide on site consulting work to direct and guide
- to partner with other consultancies and companies providing corollary and complementary services to ours
Our company is currently very small, but undoubtedly skilled and extensively experienced and there is still a great industry gap for an independent, definitive company providing these services reliably and with integrity.
We are looking for a limitlessly ambitious, driven and impassioned natural sales person with immense self belief, who either works as Lone Ranger or who is part of a sales orgainsatiom.
You must be hungry for opportunity to prove yourself and be happy to stake your reputation, remuneration and time and investment needed on your ability to succeed.
Ideally you will have fantastic networks and contacts within the IT industry across finance and banking, technology, the public sector and service organisations and telecommunications organisations or otherwise feel that you can easily and quickly garner these.
Perhaps you are looking to found your own sales company or have just established, or are established and are anxious to help companies land big accounts solely through your networks, graft and sheer bolshiness.
You must be au fait with the IT industry and software application principles, able to grasp the nuances of the expertise being offered, in order to promote and sell the services effectively.
We would prefer to see a portfolio or track record of some kind; it does not matter if you did it while working for another firm or on your own account. We just need to see evidence of your energy, brilliance and success.
Although our constituent professionals are extremely experienced and knowledgeable and our skill and dedication is, we are absolutely certain, unparalleled, as an organisation, we are wholly new and unknown in this industry.
Your task will be to turn that around. Your task will be to create and build an image of our organisation as not only as a credible and effective alternative to the established players but to convince your leads and listeners that nobody can do the job better and care about their needs more or go further in the quest to prove this.
You will need to be comfortable, methodical and skilled at cold calling and generating leads and getting the ear of the right people in procurement.
You must be able to understand and relay what procurement procedures might be in place and get in the face of decision makers.
You must be able to help get our organisation in the runnings to land contracts and convince potential clients that our services are fundamental and indispensable.
