Channel Business Development Manager -- 2

We are a reputed Logistic Company engaged in International Courier Business from Australia intend to hire an experienced Channel Business Development Manager to develop Channel Business for the Company. This is a long term opportunity and is open for individuals in Australia and Overseas. Applicants can perform from a remote location within Australia and Overseas and geographical location is not an obstacle for the right candidate.

With our increasing popularity in Australia, we have decided to introduce our product and service through retail sales outlets in 5 major cities - Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. We have ambitious growth potential to add approximately 2000 new shops to our existing network of shops in Australia. These individual shops or retail outlets are usually variety stores, pharmacies, corner stores, tobacconists and other types of existing retail outlets wanting to improve their revenue base would be our prospect. Our usual target stores are already a participant in accepting parcels or drop-offs for customers from different courier companies for E-Commerce delivery or returns. We want to make our products and services available through these participating stores using state of the art order processing system along with most lucrative commission schedule for any such shops in Australia. We offer simplest and the best commission for all shops within our network and we will continue to offer this to other retailers intending to join our network.

To be able to Develop This Channel of Business we are in search of an experienced candidate with the following qualities as below:

Ability to create a strategy to develop this channel of Business

Ability to Manage the operational success of this channel of outlets

Training and developing a sales team to enable the success of this line of business

Motivating existing retailers and making them active to kick start this service from any store is a challenge and dealing with this will be one of the key responsibilities of this role.

Adding new retailers ongoing basis will be part of the KPI of this position.

Based on the success within the first 3-6 months this team can be expanded with more people in the sales team under the leadership of this Channel Business Development Manager

After meeting the KPI, suitable sales team members can be introduced in this team to develop this channel further. This drive will come from this position along with training, development and performance management - will be the responsibility of this position.

The current obstacle comes from lack of manpower and ability to allocate suitable leadership to this position with desired focus to achieve result we deserve.

Outstanding skills on the phone and social media networking ability can be a very important factors to succeed in this role.

Must be a team player and can demonstrate the ability to grow the team towards achieving goals

Extensive Marketing Support through Email Marketing and Social Media Marketing will be provided and the introduction of new marketing techniques can be adapted to support this line of business if feasible.
