You call small businesses that depend on local traffic like auto body/repair shops, pool companies, etc. using either my data or your own (mine has about a 50% disconnect rate, so you are better off using your own). My data has the name of the Owner or President and if you use your own data, it must also have the name of the Owner or President. It just takes too long to find out who the decision maker is otherwise, so having the Owner/President name included in the data will avoid a lot of wasted time for both of us.
When you get the decision maker on the phone, you simply read a 3 sentence script and then ask if they mind us faxing some information about our service. If they agree, then you get their fax number. I can pay $1 per fax number but there is a catch. I will fax information to the names and numbers you provide and then follow up with them. If I start hearing that they never got a phone call, then the deal is off, and I find someone else to take over this project. Please understand that it is just too easy to call receptionists and ask for their fax number and I am not paying for that. The point of the project is that the decision maker expresses enough interest that they are willing to look at our information.
I need 100 per week and if it works out, I would be willing to hire you permanently through freelancer.com. If you have your own (good) data, and a good dialer, then you can breeze through this and get 20 a day, Monday through Friday in 2 - 4 hours each day. Since it is so easy to cheat at this and just send over business fax numbers, I will give preference in awarding this project to low benchmarks, like 5 - 10, so that I can verify that someone actually spoke to the decision maker and they agreed to look at our information. Just need to build some trust first is all!
