Qualifications required:
• Extensive experience with software testing and software test tools in a commercial environment required.
• Experience in SOA Testing preferred
• Experience in Manual and Automation testing
• Experience using VBScript
• BE Computer Science – or equivalent experience
• 5 – 6 years testing experience required
• Applicable certifications and testing training a plus
Skills Required:
• Exposure to Quality Processes like ISO, CMMI, Implementation of ISO/CMMI and Audits
• Good Communication, interpersonal skills & report, business correspondence & procedure-writing skills
• Exposure to Microsoft Office tools like Word, Excel, MS-Project, Power-point.
• Exposure to Project management and Source control tools: MPP, VSS, CVS, and SVN
• Capable of implementing QA Process
• Utilize leading edge tools and techniques to ensure product quality
• Provide input into the design, engineering, integration, and security plans, to ensure quality is built-in.
• Work with development teams to help them adopt sound, quality practices
• Implements and Provides expertise on the software development lifecycle, including expertise on software development methodologies and software design modeling techniques and software development best practices.
• Responsible for the design, creation and execution of test strategy, plans and results.
• Experience performing functional, stress and performance testing.
• Contribute to Lessons Learnt, Project Analysis, Reporting, Metrics collection
• Strong analytical and influencing ability
