Downhill: a 3D multiplayer off-road bicycle racing game!

We're looking for skilled Unity 3D game designers to develop a 3D multiplayer downhill racing game, similar to the popular PlayStation 2 game 'Downhill Domination'. The game will use an Arduino device as input for the game and connects to our own software to collect data such as highscores and playtime. Players race against each other on bicycles and see who can finish first. They also have a personal score that they can compare post-race with each other and with a high score. Through several short (1-2 minutes) thematic and different races, players can quickly do some racing and have some fun while exercising. We’ve developed an in-depth description of the project, a use requirements document, style guides for specific game elements and in-depth milestones the freelancer can use as a guideline while developing the game. Furthermore we have developed our own input device that is essential for the game to work. Interested freelancers are required to respond to this job by starting their response with “efit”, this to filter out bots. After that we’ll select several freelancers we’re interested in to work with. At this point we will provide to you the in-depth description, URD and the milestones. At this point we’ll discuss with the selected freelancers and finally pick the freelancer we’ll work with. Attached are several files freelancer can use as a reference. It is the Downhill Domination game we used as inspiration. We want game developed in this style although several elements of the original game (combat related gameplay) are not needed. We require the freelancer to develop the game in Unity 3D; develop custom models, textures, sounds or work with licensing/copyright free files; document and comment all code, files, and so on; the freelancer needs to work in and have full proficiency with the English language. After at least each milestone (preferably more often) the freelancer shares all the files with us. After the project is done, the whole project, including all files, will become the intellectual property of Embedded Fitness and as such all files need to be transferred to us. All of the work, all of the communication, all of the payments, and everything else is done through the Freelancer website.
