We are developing a golf training system using sensors worn by the golfer. The sensors worn by the golfer transmit signals to their phone and we transform the data into something meaningful that will help them improve their golf. We have transformed the signals into orientation on Vectors X, Y & Z. (Called Pitch, Yaw and Roll) for each device. The devices are worn by the golfer on various parts of their body (hand, spine, waist, club). Our sensors transmit raw data to the phone via Bluetooth.
We want to show the golfer’s swing in a 3D graphical model of the parts that are being measured (hand, spine, waist, club, ankle, forearm). We will overlay the key stats so they can visualize the focus areas to improve their swing. We have already designed and built the 3D models for the glove (left and right), club, torso (measured by spine reading), waist and legs. See the word document attached for details.
