I'm developing a third person shooter for mobile platforms in unity
I need a server specialist who can setup a dedicated server and implement cheat prevention measures through that.
I don't want a fully authoritative server. I just need few simple cheat preventions setup so that users cannot equip weapons which aren't unlocked at cannot inflict more damage then the equipped weapon is supposed to do. So basically each players health value is stored on the server and hit detection calls are sent by clients which contain parameters of which weapon is used by shooter and the player id of shooter. Then server can check if the shooter have that weapon unlocked and if yes then calculate what's the maximum damage possible in a given time according to that weapons fire rate and damage stats
Very simple logic but it can't be implemented using playfab cloud scripts (which are my current solution for all other cheat preventions in game) because cloud scripts have a limit of only 5 calls in 10 seconds and being a fast paced shooter one player can get shot well over 5 times in 10 seconds
So only possible solution is to setup a server to calculate these values.
It's not much work but it's well beyond my scope of skills
So i need someone who can handle this task effectively and efficiently
