for a 2.5d 3d project we are looking for a technical artist who sets a template for our 3d modellers with limited technical knowledge to use. So you program shaders and vfx and if possible some basic things for destruction. And ofcourse give us documentation how to use and even if a problem arises change it from project. You can work through unity connect.
- water above and underwater and the plane (also the way light behaves under water) and changes over water (both ways)
- fire and fire vfx
- general lighting setup
- setup of fog
I have a very specific style in mind but want to tell once i know you are serious enough to start. And start would be rather yesterday then today. Ofcourse we dont need everything at once but it would be nice if we manage to get a first template for the water and lighting.
we are a free time gamedev studio wanting to pay in bits not an aaa studio so please think of it when setting a rate.
We want to work with you in bits. Make it modular. Maybe work together intensely for a week to get things going then do it in bits and if needed a bit more intensely when you have more time.
