I wanted to hire you again straight away to perform a piece of work by Sunday night AEST time.
If you login to the Bookr business dashboard here - [url removed, login to view]
user - hamishwagner (at) gmail (dot) com
You will see that the daily bookings are displayed in a list format each day.
I have attached a word document which shows how we would like the bookings displayed instead in a calendar format - i.e. a coloured box that encompasses all the timeslots that make up the booking with the booking details included in the box (customer name, phone number, service and time it begins).
The default view on the 'Bookings' tab of the dashboard would be setup like the calendar at the top of the excel document. However the calendar would obviously have all the staff members the business has added running horizontally and the working time slots running vertically. Please note that the business can edit the working hours of each staff members individually (see Employee tab, edit) - thus the times would have to be the earliest starting time of all staff and the latest closing time of all staff that work that day. If a staff member has not selected that they work on a particular day, it would be greyed out.
There would then also be a button to change to the weekly view (second calendar setup in the doc). Accompanying this view, there would be a drop down menu containing all the staff the admin has added to change to weekly calendar of the selected staff member.
As described in the doc, areas of the calendar that do not have a booking, if the user clicks on that box, they will be taken to the 'Add Booking' page with the time field pre-populated with the time that the box clicked pertains to.
If the user adds an 'unavailable time' booking, a coloured box will encompass all the timeslots that make up that unavailable time and it will have the text 'Unavailable'
The day that the calendar is displayed for will still be selected via the monthly calendar tool at the top left of the business dashboard.
If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
again, it is IMPERATIVE that this does not effect the site functioning properly while you are developing.
