I require a programmer or programming team to get an interactive digital art workshop up and running in time for a London based arts festival in July.
80% of the leg work has already been done by the previous programmer and all that it needs now is the UI to be finished and a few of the art layout algorithms to be refined to fit the concept art more.
I am a graduating MA student who has designed the concept of an interactive game that has groups of people evolve art with a computer program to create art based on archetypal symbolism and the subconscious. The project was noticed by a huge London Arts festival (last year saw over 75,000 visitors) who want to feature it in July however my programmer dropped out last minute due to health issues and I am looking for someone to complete the project (or redo it from scratch if its easier).
Ideally I am looking for someone who is London/UK based so they can attend the festival as on site tech support (I will pay transport). I am looking for someone who has previous experience in UI/UX as well as multiplayer interaction and basic visual art programming. Basic web design also desirable.
My last programmer did the project as collaboration so no budget was exchanged but would be interested in your quotes, bearing in mind it must be completed for the first week of July. I am a student so don’t have the hugest amount (although we are currently applying for extra funding which will be added to your pay if we do get it) and can supplement the financial side with branding exposure during the festival.
This is a massive opportunity to have your work advertised at one of London's biggest arts festivals as well as your time paid for as best I can and the opportunity to work on a computer program that has huge academic and commercial value because of its novel nature.
I look forward to hearing your quotes and opinions ASAP.
