A bespoke hardware interface to the DE0-nano board is to be designed.
This interface is to use appropriate voltage levels suitable for the DE0-nano and should consist of the following: amber and flashing red LEDs (to control the traffic), red and green LEDs (to control the trains) and separate red and green LEDs (to control pedestrian access to the crossing).
The whole sequence is initiated by a press-button (in the signal box) and terminated automatically by the train (once the line has cleared).
