Need a video created using below specs for a video wall. All the images will be designed in-house. We need a video editor that can take our content and animate it, put in effects, and provide the technical output described here. The video content can be any standard you normally work with and MP4 is fine.
The video will not be stretched so quality will be maintained at 720p.
We will setup and test your video at the DFW facility on the screens prior to shipping.
Using any video creation/editing software, the setup will be 720 tall x (5) 1280 screens wide or 6400 x 720.
The final output should be split into (5) - 1280 x 720 streams. Most AV software will do this.
For optimum quality a second copy of the video should be scaled (4) screens wide at 5120 x 720 and split into (4) – 1280 x 720 streams.
Our vendor uses ProVideoPlayer 2 from Renewed Vision for playback of the streams.

The software can be used for editing and is available for purchase or rental (2 weeks or 1 month) if your designer needs additional editing tools.
Playback of your video will be streamed from MacBook Pros or Mac Pro towers loaded with the digital media software and advanced display cards, driving external Matrox TripleHead2Go external graphics modules. Each monitor will display a high definition stream.
It would be best to create test media using your software, a short video in this format, even if just a few frames. This would allow us to setup the playback equipment and verify your media before going through the effort to create the full length presentation. We will definitely want to test the final product when we set everything up prior to shipment.
In terms of content any high contrast and colorful image will look beautiful on the AV wall. There are very small bezels between monitors that will appear virtually seamless at the intended viewing distances.
Animated images, colorful or darker colors and complex backgrounds will diminish the appearance of seams in the overall presentation.
Static images using white, light colors or solid backgrounds will tend to show the small seams between displays.
Prior experience in creating multi-screen design is necessary. A test file will be created as a small project before project is awarded.
