Resolve issue with paypal pro form on Joomla! site

We have an existing Joomla website that uses paypal pro service to process paypal and We have an existing Joomla! website that uses paypal pro to process paypal and credit cards for a membership site, this functionality has stopped working not even sure if it worked last year when we had paid a web dev shop to create the payment form. Anyway we need someone to troubleshoot and resolve this issue for us and get payments for memberships working again and email confirmations after the membership has been purchased as well.
