We need to develop a Digital Signage Based on Android and PHP.
The software includes three parts: Player, Manager and License validator.
The signage player is based on Android which supports HTML5 template, playing mp4, flash, jpeg, png, rss, webpage and our external data source. The player needs to work on Android minipc. The signage should plays in portrait, landscape, 16:10, 4:3, and 16:9 maximum in HD format. The application should have be stable during playback.
The manager part is in PHP, MySQL and AJAX technology.
Each player has a license based on their installation. The license validation will be done by sendingaa validation request to the manager. The manager sends it to an external website to validate the license.
The license validator website is in PHP too. It is only validate the players manually. All the players for sends their static data like CPU and memory usage and play status and errors to the manager. These logs uploaded into License validator website, too.
We prefer to download media file into players via FTP. The connection among validator, player and manager should be via web service with authentication.
To increase development speed, we prefers to have the manager part in a PHP framework like Yii.
Note:
1- Project source code should transfer to us.
2- Final product does not need to be full feature, but stable.
3- We need the product to be support for future development with more features.
