We have a well defined project that needs to be built for our team of artists to use internally.

Summary:

What we need is 50% zendesk and 50% [url removed, login to view], and most of it will be built on top of existing services. Your primary task will be joining it all together.

We have wireframes built in [url removed, login to view] but the overall UI will be very similar in functionality and style to this: [url removed, login to view]

Core Components:

The project should be built using a service oriented architecture and will consist of these components:

1. Desktop Javascript App for Windows - [url removed, login to view] (node-webkit) and Polymer 1.0

2. Local API (Backend) - Built on top of AWS API Gateway, Lambda, [url removed, login to view]

3. Real-time layer - Using pubnub

4. External API (exists already; integration only)

High-level Data flow:

-Order is created in External system

-External system passes event to Local API Web Hook to create new task

-Task gets assigned to an employee

-Task moves through system normally; status changes, comments, etc.

-System calls out to External API to update status on shared object

Deliverables:

1. Desktop Javascript App & Suite of tests

2. Backend built on top of AWS

3. Integration with existing External API
