My name is Evelien and I run an Airbnb hosting service in Ghent, Belgium. I manage several properties where tourists come and go on a regular basis.
As I begin to expand, I need help in handling the guest relations; confirming bookings, answering questions and managing the schedule for my crew here in Ghent.
Our properties are listed on Airbnb and Booking.com. We are growing rapidly and are looking for somebody to handle guest messages 24/7/365 for our properties. These will not be actual working hours, but AVAILABLE hours.
The emergencies and guest inquires just need to be handled as they come up and usually take just a minute or two, sometimes they can take longer. This is perfect for someone who has another job already and is already at the computer during these times and doesn’t mind being interrupted from time to time. We do not expect this to be your only job, but we do expect good response time and professional follow-up with all tasks given.

Most communication with the guests will be through our software that brings in all properties together. Some will want to call and speak to someone on the phone.
Housekeepers and property managers will be contacted through text messages, calls, or email, but usually our Facebook group.
Must have very good English speaking and writing skills. If your response to this ad has many spelling or grammatical errors you will not be considered. A knowledge of Dutch is a big plus (though not required), as some guests like to communicate in Dutch.
Ability to work during European day-time is required.
Ideally, you have a great personality, can easily adapt to change, are somewhat tech-savvy and have free time throughout the day to assist guests. I’m looking for someone detail-oriented, reliable and positive. If you are a good fit, there is room to grow in the position.
Good to know: this is the first time working with a virtual assistant so in the beginning we'll need to work closely together to find the best process for you to take responsibility over the tasks.
