I have a proprietry inventory software used with ebay and I am looking for a multi-thread Windows command program for submitting listings to [url removed, login to view] and other ebay sites. My software can launch a commandline program and pass along parameters or it will create & run a bat file containing all necessary parameters.
I believe you will need experience and knowledge in ebay API at least. It will be used mainly on [url removed, login to view] but also on US & other countries' ebay sites.
The commandline program will have a config file (ini) containing all essential parameters not limited to:
ebay site URL (e.g. [url removed, login to view]), ebay ID (e.g. happymeal), ebay Password (e.g. 123456), hide window (e.g. yes)
I can choose to run the commandline program in normal (i.e. showing a black window) mode or in hidden/minimized mode. Needs to be compatible with Windows 2000 through to Seven.
There needs to be a way to login the ebay site once, and a way to logout the ebay site. So within the current login session there's no need to re-login for every listing submission.
Parameters will be passed to the command line program to submit one listing, either directly or through a bat file that I will created manually by other means.
The parameters will be essentially the same set as provided by ebay's turboLister, I won't use all of the parameters but it should submit whatever non-empty fields that are acceptable to ebay.
An important feature is to submit a gallery photo which I will pass a local file path referencing to the actual image so the commandline program will upload the gallery photo during submission of the listing.
The description of the listing will contain HTML code so make sure the program can pass the HTML code correctly.
The program will need to be multithread as I may submit multiple listings at any one time. A fixed name log file (e.g. [url removed, login to view]) will store the status of submission, each line in the log refers to one listing's title and submission result, e.g. line 1 may say: Kingston 512MB RAM 133MHz = success, line 2 may say: New USB 2M cable = failed
However I am open to suggestions regarding the structure.
I am happy to test your work in progress on my PC at any stage as I don't want to give out my ebay account passwords etc.
The program must be standalone, self-contained & portable with no dependency on third party/external installations (no java etc). Source code & related components must be provided to me.
I don't have a big budget but if you can complete the task efficiently and economically then I would like to hear from you, any question please ask, thank you.
