Excel add-in - rewritting code

We are developing an Excel add-in for a worldwide accounting firm. This contains approximately 100 different macros/tools, although many of them are very similar in nature.

The vast majority of these have been written in VBA, and are fully functional. However, they have been written by inexperienced programmers, and therefore contain numerous bugs, and much of the code runs inefficiently.

We are looking for someone to re-write the code to ensure that it is error free and runs as efficiently as possible and to compile all the tools into a single .NET add-in

Before we commit to a single provider to perform this work, we are running a trial project, consisting of 3 of the tools from the larger project. We will offer this trial to more than one provider, and based on the results we will select a single provider to complete the full project.

Please note that all providers who we ask to complete the trial project WILL be paid their bid amount for that work, even if we choose not to use them for the full project.

At present you are bidding for the trial project consisting of 3 tools, the full requirements of which are detailed in the document “Trial Project [login to view URL]”. The document “Full Project [login to view URL]” provides some additional information on the full project. Please also PM us with an estimated quote for the full project, or if you have any questions.

Please see the two attached documents for further details of both the trial and full project.

Please note that the budget range quoted is for the Full project. We expect bids for the trial project to fall into GAF's "very small project" bid range of $30-250

As you are only able to enter a bid amount greater than $1500, please bid for the estimated cost of the full project, and PM us with a quote for the trial project.

No provider will be considered unless they send us a PM with a quote for the trial project
