i'm looking for someone to gather informations from Excel files.
There is 2400 pages with a lot of data on them. I don't need them all, I only need few infromations from them to be sum up into a new excel spreadsheet.
PLease find enclosed 4 examples of the pages, but also the layout that I want for the final excel spreadshirt.
Please note that this pages have been scanned form original paper. So the layout of the pages may be different, from one to an other.
All A4 pages is scanned into one page.
But I don’t need all the informations from the page…I only need the text that is highlighted in yellow.
So I created a layout spreadsheet to show you how I would like it.
There is one specification.
If you look at the the file called “Untitled2 – 0004” you will see that I have highlighted “1963” in bigger size and in red.
It’s the date of birth of the owner of the company. And that a variable really important for us.
To explain you everything this documents are financial sum up of companies. So we have the name of the company, the phone number, the address, how many money they make per year…but we also have the name of the owner of the company and his/her date of birth (in that case 1963)
Our company is a “company dealer”…so basicly with the date of birth we can know if the owner if old or not, and if he is going to go in retirement soon.
If he is pretty old, then we will call him and offer our service, to help him selling his company. That’s why the date of birth is important and that’s why we would like to rank the final excel spreadshirt by date of birth.
Tell me if the date of birth can be something automatised, because as you see we don’t have all the date of birth.
Also for exemple for the “chiffre d’affaire net 2005/2006….” The informations are not really really important. So for example if that’s too much complicated to have the data of all the years, that’s not such a big deal to have only the last year.

VBA developer since 1997. I will automate it using VBA macro. FYI my wife is a french interpreter, so I don't expect troubles with the French text in xls files. Merci.
