Eliminate Duplicates from a 12,000+ Record Table
Each record will contain 7 fields, when a duplciate is found for Primary Field compare the other fields in the record, and merege the fields, then delete the duplicate record.
Will need a form to display statistics as the procedure is running
Import Records from Excel into D/B Table
Will display a form that has a browse button so that the import file can be selected. Form will also be used to display statistics while the procedure is running.
Procedure will then import the Excel Worksheet (Row 1 will contain field names, field names will always be the same). During import, the excel record will be verifed that primary field is not already in the database, if it is found in the database the field values will be compared, if the database field values are blank the excel field values will be used to update the database.
