We are in need of a bartender project to handle the printing of one layout with dynamic content. We are looking for the following:
1. We will have a Bartender document with a static background and logo
2. The Bartender program should have an input form to accept a part number/sku (based on a database column)
3. Bartender should use that sku to lookup the matching record from an Excel file.
4. Retrieve the following dynamic values from the row with that matching sku
a. Product icons (1-6 icons depending on the sku)
b. Product colors (1-X colors depending on the sku)
c. Several other single attributes (part number, barcode, description, etc)
The label should behave similarly to a GHS label. I am attaching two examples of the label.
In the first label, there is an example (Label1) with 6 icons displayed. On the second label (Label2) there are only two icons. Additionally, on Label1 there are 5 color variations that will print, on Label2, there are none. These are the two places where there can be a variable list of items to print and were we need the most help.
In the attached database, you'll see the variable fields with semicolon deliminated values. These are the columns driving the dynamic Pictographs and color variations.
This solution should be easily duplicated in case more layouts are added at a later date.
