The purpose of the application is to collate data from a number of spreadsheet forms (see attached file RCA Record) into a table in a summary spreadsheet (see attached file RCA Summary). It is envisaged that once a month the user will be able to open the summary spreadsheet and press a button to import data from all spreadsheet forms. The summary spreadsheet will be recreated from scratch each month and a copy retained to keep a history. All spreadsheet forms are of identical fixed structure and there may be up to 200 within the folder. The import data is clearly shown at $B$61:$N$61. It is envisaged that this application will have a very short life (< 12 months) during which it will get incorporated into a corporate system. It is likely that minor changes will be needed (e.g. add an extra data item) and the client is capable of making minor changes to the source code to cope with these small variations as long as the source is clearly documented. Error handling is important and a simple report of files within the folder that caused errors (e.g. did not have the named worksheet) would be useful.
