I work for a small charity in the UK. Our sql database holds a lot of financial information such as how much each event we run needs to be invoiced. As we are moving over the Xero we want to be able to transfer this data into Xero to create invoices.
I have a query in Access, with data in that i need to export into a Xero csv template.
i need some VBA writing so that :
a: the export file matches exactly what Xero needs.
b: the export file will also need to hold some information that may be dependent on the information in the query.
if there is a field in the query "Xero" called [cluster] then depending on the value of the field, I would like something different written in the output file.
If [cluster] = I THEN [AccountCode] = 256
If [cluster] = A THEN [AccountCode] = 200
This is a fairly straighforward job, and I would hope to pick up on your code, and once i have the idea can tweak it to suit my needs.
