10 year old kid who learnt acoustic guitar by subscribing to [url removed, login to view] needs help. He has been learning guitar since he was 8 years old. He has been singing since he was 3 years old almost everyday.
He has learnt the practical way by following all the acoustic guitar patterns that were present on that website and has learnt many more patterns looking at youtube videos from other artists. He knows A to G minor and major chords. He also knows to play leads and solos(thats what he says). He sung live on 'Jesus Take the Wheel' using his guitar(both vocal and instrument) and in a similar way many other songs with guitar.
He is good in strum patterns, finger picking, hamer ons, pull offs and slides and different types of guitar melodies but needs more perfection which will come with practice as he is cramped with many other activities. Maybe this means he has finished the beginners and intermediate level and now wants to go advance. Here is where he will need to learn the theory part too. Here is where you will play a role.
Kindly find attached documents which he wishes to understand at his own pace. If you have something better to offer I am ok with that too. Please let me know.
At his own pace means he has a habit of learning on his own so I don’t want to stop him from that. If you are going to use the attached documents then he will start going page by page and edit the document with his questions(which he will highlight) for you and send it across to you. You will need to simply elaborate that point using skype text or voice and help him out so that he moves ahead with that document. Again I would like to repeat that if you have the theory course that is better and you think it will help him good so I am open to check that document too and use it instead of what I attached which he got from to [url removed, login to view]

I have taught kids for a good number of years, and the experience has given me a good wealth of knowledge, even the dynamics with their learning pace ,styles and the like.
