Facebook api expert needed

I have a need to harvest comments from a facebook group (not a page, but a group). I am finding the api awkward to work with, so am looking for someone who is expert with the facebook api, and specifically groups to help out.
The project is in java, but for the right expert, I could translate a solution in another language.
There will most likely be additional work in the future if all goes well.
