This is a 2 part project involving adding Google Local Listings and tracking clicks received via GA.
WHAT IS REQUIRED
Part A: Add all our properties to Google Local results. There are approx 500 properties across 2 web sites. A Google local account has been setup already.
The properties can be added via a data file, which will be reviewed before uploading to Google local. You must collect the details of each property from the web site including full address details and post code / zip code. The property address details can be exported from the site database – the address field is a text field. Title format: [Property_Name] [city] ( links to property url)
A generic listing for each city will also be added - [Company_Name] [city] (links to city page)
You must have performed this task before and have examples to show of previous local campaigns. Suggestions on how to maximise listings is an added advantage. Please provide examples of previous campaigns.
Part B: Project: Setup our google analytics account so that we can easily see the full list of referring urls in GA – this will show the full referring url ( not a truncated url)
GA should also be setup to track referrers from local search, so we can easily see the traffic that is generated from the local searches, and goal conversions.
STAGES & EXPECTED TIMESCALES
Part A: Create 2 documents ( one for each web site) with all properties and the url for each of the properties, and all cities with the Title and url for each city.
The following is required:
A generic city listing for each city: [ Company_Name] [city]
A listing of each property = [Property_Name] [city]
Document reviewed and approved, then upload to GA. (timescale: within 2 weeks)
Part B: Setup GA - full referring urls and report to track traffic from local searches. (within 1 week)
1 OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Being able to operate in European time zone preferred.
- Excellent spoken and written English – must be able to speak on Skype.
2 )SPECIFIC EXPERTISE
Please demonstrate that you have the experience to perform this and that you have performed similar Google Local campaigns and GA reports setup work before.
3) THE TEAM
You should have a dedicated team of developers who can work in European time zone.
Communication – You will be fast to respond, and able to respond quickly to emails, or to talk via Skype if needed.
