Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Ticketmaster Ticket Scraper and Database Developer to join our team. The primary goal of this role is to design and develop a robust web scraper that efficiently retrieves all available tickets from Ticketmaster and stores them in a well-structured database. Additionally, the successful candidate will implement a versioning system to maintain a history of records and updates, ensuring data accuracy and traceability.

- Simple scraper that will constantly crawl and fill database with available tickets
Key Responsibilities:
Develop a web scraper to extract ticket information from Ticketmaster, considering optimal scraping techniques and protocols.
Design and implement a secure and efficient database structure to store the scraped ticket data.
Create a versioning system within the database to maintain a history of ticket records and updates.
Optimize the scraper for speed, reliability, and accuracy in fetching ticket data from Ticketmaster's website.
Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless integration of the scraper with our existing systems and databases.
Monitor and troubleshoot the scraper to identify and address any performance or data retrieval issues.
Keep abreast of changes in Ticketmaster's website structure and adapt the scraper accordingly to ensure continuous data extraction.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in web scraping tools and techniques, with experience in extracting data from complex websites like Ticketmaster.
Strong skills in database design, management, and optimization, with a focus on maintaining data versions and history.
Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Node.js, or similar, and experienced in combining them to develop effective scraping solutions.
Understanding of web protocols, security measures, and best practices for efficient and secure web scraping.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt and optimize the scraper to evolving website structures and changes.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work in a team-oriented environment.
