There is a SKILLS/KEYWORD input box for searching jobs by skill set.
It is a type-a-head drop down input box. Meaning, as you type partial words, it sends AJAX Request to Server and returns a list of phrases.
I would like to script that --
a. retrieves a list of partial phrases from my Database Stored Procedure
b. simulate the skills input request using the skills/keywords
c. return the results to DB in xml format.
For example, if I provide the words "data" and "pr" in a row set, the program returns --
<results>data access objects</results>
I don't think there is a limit on the number of searches per IP address. Nonetheless, I will provide a proxy to use for each results set.
You would call a Stored Procedure called GetSearchPhrase() and it would return a SELECT STMT results set of phrases. Once you have the results you could call another Stored Procedure PostSearchResults with the XML formatted results.
Use Fiddler / Firebug / or a proxy server to determine the AJAX form request and test it manually to ensure you could do this before bidding on this proejct.
