logo and header

I am launching a new school web site. The school is mathematics oriented. I have a logo that reflects geometry and physics ideas. It has to be cleaned. I also need a corresponding header. Here are the details:
- logo should be clean design with a white/transparent background
- final delivery should include the original native format so that I can make changes using one of the popular program (you name it) or save to different resolutions if needed
2) Header
- it should look very academic and include some school images like attributes of math or science classes
The images will be delivered in both, original AI/Corel vector format, and as a gif files.
I will own all rights to the design.
To give me an idea of your design work please provide a link to your portfolio. If you have some ideas for the header, a mockup would be even better.
