I am seeking a website/ e-commerce whiz who is responsible for elevating and enhancing my current magazines website, traffic, overall performance and ecommerce capabilities. This individual will be responsible for redesigning our current website on its joomla platform and turning it into a cutting edge website, maintaining the website, optimizing the magazines website performance and driving traffic and conversion through email campaigns, PPC, SEO, and Affiliate Programs. Ideal candidate is passionate about improving the performance of magazines website and subscriptions. They are highly analytical, technologically savvy, and are experienced with e-commerce. Individual will be responsible for managing and updating site content, and needs to be proficient at writing code and uploading content. The ability to collaborate with co-workers, and upper management is imperative. Candidate can trouble shoot, goes above and beyond and executes with clear communication and precision. Site Content Job Responsibilities: UPDATING THE DESIGN/LOOK, PLATFORM AND FEEL OF THE EXISTING WEBSITE Website updates for: Content and product updates, brand and promotional updates and editorial calendar management Implement cookies and campaigns Maintain Google AdWords Tracking and Google Analytics Build localized landing pages and forms Thorough QA of all site code and tracking codes Manage hosting vendors and interactive agency Programming new pages and application development Programming & Technology: Stay abreast of new technology, implement it and know which technologies will enhance the site Maintain file security and firewall's Analyze content regularly to ensure buttons and links are working Privacy compliance Specs and sourcing for related technologies and equipment Digital Marketing Initiatives: Devise, implement and manage SEO strategy across the company's public facing website, blog and social media content Study and provide weekly and monthly analytics reports Email Campaign Management: Coding designs; manage contact manager, database management Analytics / Sales trend assessment Database management and segmentation Marketing monitoring & optimization (i.e.: A/B tests, campaigns and web metrics) Job Requirements: Proven ability to maintain and optimize website(s), with 2+ years of experience Thorough, meticulous and consistent in performing tasks Masterful in troubleshooting and problem solving Extensive experience with Joomla/Drupal Attention to detail Stay abreast of latest web technology: email, online collaboration, social networks, etc. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, database, web development, desktop publishing; knowledge of graphic design programs a plus Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Experience in graphic design; interest in magazine publishing, or fashion a plus Programming languages: ASP, C++, ColdFusion, CSS, Joomla, Drupal, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash, FTP, HTML HTTP, Illustrator, JAVA, JavaScript, OS proficiency (winders, 'nix), PERL, Photoshop, Indesign PHP/MySql, SEO, SSI, SSL, Telnet, Unix, VBScript , XML
