I have a fully functioning database - based web site that is all plain text. I'd like someone with design experience to come in, review the site, and design it in 2 stages. First, I'd like someone to recommend the overall layout. The site should have a header, a footer, perhaps columns. It should have a placeholder for ads, so ad-placement experience would be a plus. Layout design will include sending me specifications of where to place div tags, and any other changes necessary on the back end. Once those are implemented (by my development team), the new shell html pages will be sent back to you for cosmetic design, including a logo and css files. To summarize, this is the process I'd like to follow:
1) NDA signed
2) Initial html static web pages and site description is sent to you
3) You send back layout specifications (div tags for example)- anything you would like to see added to the layout that is auto-generated by the database.
4) I send you new .html files with your layout specifications implemented
5) You send back modified .html files, css files and logo
I expect this to be a very short project for someone with the right experience. Most of the css work will be applicable to all pages, I expect.
Specifically, there are
a create account page
an edit account page
a login page
a forgot password page
an "add record" page (the main record for the website)
an "edit record" page
an "add comment" page
a "watch" page, which shows records the user is watching
a "leader board" page, which shows most active users
a "send feedback" page
As I said, I expect that most of these pages will be identical or nearly identical in design, so I think a lot of this is duplicate.
