Heres the deal. I have over 2500 website and logo templates, some in flash format, some psd, and others. I need a screen capture for each website template and each logo template. The screen captures need to be in either jpg, bmp, gif, or png format. The templates will come on a single DVD disk (or two if I can not fit them all on one DVD disk) The templates will each reside in their own folder and the folders will be labeles with an alphanumeric name. A screen capture of each template needs to be made and the screen capture needs to be labeled the same alphanumeric word as the corresponding template folder is named. I can send the templates to the project winner via regular postal mail on DVD. The screen captures can be sent back via email or uploaded to my server using FTP.
At least 2000 of these templates I am sending I hold master resale rights for, which I will gladly pass on to the winning bidder of this project. Since this is sort of a data entry job (not exactly but it does require very little skill, you just need a screen capture program and the time to sit there and make screen captures of each template) I will very definetly select the lowest bid, and will only consider bidders with a good feedback history. I spent several hundred dollars in total aquiring these templates over the last year. Some of them are from template monster (those do NOT have resale rights) and the vast majority of them are of very high quality. You should consider the aquisition of these templates as the main profit in this listing.
What I need these for is to make thumbnails and preview pages so buyers can browse the selection and view a preview prior to purchase. I can make the thumbnails myself once I have the initial screenshots of each template.
The templates need to be in the form of either just the web page itself, without the browser outsides showing, or it can also include the broswer frame (without the address bar showing) so you will need a screen capture program that will capture the web page in its entirety and not the desktop or anything outside of the web page. Again, I have no problem with you using a screen capture program that also either adds or also captures the frame of the broswer so long as the address bar is not showing, the buttons and top can be showing but of course if it shows the address bar it will says something ugly like d:[url removed, login to view] and I do not want it to show that, I also do not want to have to go through each image and remove the address on each capture. I want to be able to process each capture through a thumbnail program to make them a specific dimension for the thumbnail and just link the thumbnail to the screen captures you send without needing to do any other work to them. You do NOT need to make the thumbnails, I was just explaining what I need the screen captures for.
Looking forward to working with whoever wins this project. It could also be very quick if you have some type of program that will automatically go through the dvd and make a screen capture for each template. I do not know of one so if you do, this task will be simple.
Just a note, for an example fo the type of screen capture I am trying to get look at whois.sc/jaxdevil.com and see the screen capture that whois.sc took of my site. Just like that, except full size (the same size as the template itself) I will make the thumbnails myself once I receive the full size images
I want to clarify, when I said over 2500 that just means like 2550 or 2580, I did not say that to falsify the work load or anything, it seemed like some of the bids were worded to say that their bid was based on it being 2500 templates. It is right about 2500, its not like I have 5000 templates and am saying 2500 to get a lower bid. There actually might be a little less than 2500. It is definetly within 100 of 2500 (between 2400 and 2600 templates in total)
Just clarifing since I think I should have said that instead of 'over 2500' in the original project description.
Also, their will be no cost to the project winner, you do not need to burn the captures to dvd or mail them back, you can just ftp them back to me, or email them to me. I will just send you the templates on dvd and the screen captures will not take up nearly as much space as the templates so they should be easy to ftp or email them to me.
