I am in the process of setting up a new property for sale website. The basic layout of the site including content with a basic design and a basic logo is there but it needs a bit of a ‘polish’.
So, I need a Website design (no flash and no frames!) with a good design for the index page. I also need a page to display the results of searches made on the site (this page needs to be very distinctive in layout, design etc).
I need a logo design and I need a design for a ‘For Sale’ sign.
The logo design and For Sale sign need to be the same or very very similar in design/appearance/style.
The logo design will be displayed on every web page on my site and I will also use this logo on paper letterheads.
I would like something similar to the existing logo i.e. a drawing/sketch of a house, with the same wording as in my example.
As for the For Sale sign, something similar to my existing sign, ideally using these same colours would be nice. This will be the For Sale sign displayed outside the seller’s home. It will be approx 32 inches wide by 24 inches in height.
(My business telephone number is required in the For Sale sign, but the new number has yet to be confirmed.)
At the moment there are 6 form pages – the layout is there but I have yet to code these form pages so as they work properly, so this needs to be done.
I would like to be able to import the customer contact details and the property details from 2 form pages direct into a database.
I need a search facility on the site so as buyers can search for a suitable property. Whilst I have knowledge of Access databases, and have built an Access database ready for the business, I do not really have any idea as to how to link/put together a database with the site. Would I be able to use my existing Access database or what? I am aware that one can upload image files and html files up to the host server, but what about the database? Where does that sit – on the server with the rest of my web pages? And would Access be up to the job? I hope to get about 50 visitors per day using the database search facility on my site. Any advice/suggestions?
