I'm looking for a good-looking website for my business. The name of the company is M.A.Cabinets. I'm about to do makeover of the company and think I may go with "MAC Kitchen Bath & Closets" -- as a graphic designer and programmer myself, I could just do this project on my own, however, I'm really pressed for time so I thought I'd give this a shot.
What I'm thinking:
We make a nice entry page
Main page navigation on top (Products,The Cabinet School, Contact Us,etc..)
some display banners below (some custom kitchens we've done before)
Tall footer, different color, used as navigation also to promote logos of some well known clients (i.e. CVS, Wallgreens, Hilton Hotels, etc..)
Header and footer may even be something like [url removed, login to view]
shopping cart via prestashop to sell some prefabricated stuff like bathroom vanities and other stuff
I would like a new logo design. -- I already have a good idea how I want the text to look in the "Kitchen Bath & Closets" so I will cut down on your mental drain by really helping you out with the design process. I will tell you how I would like it, what's good and what's bad. Please bare in mind I was designing websites from the days the internet went mainstream, AOL was king and few actually had an internet connection. At any rate, what I'm going to try and do is cut down on your mental drain as much as can without literally doing the work.
I need the design to be scalable so that I can add some more features to the site to really make it unique later down the line. This is just a dry run to see how people like the site and if I can promote the brick and mortar business going this rout. Should this be a success, I will need a lot more work done to the site, but for now, just want to keep it to the basics because we're on super tight budget!
