I need a CODER who can take my Photoshop website design and make it web ready. I have done ALL of the design work, and can provide a complete and detailed Photoshop document for each of the 8 pages, as well as extremely specific instructions that I have attached to this description so you may present an accurate and well-informed bid. I am NOT looking for someone who will try to redesign my work, or try to convince me how they can make it look better. I need a programmer who can translate my design as closely as possible into web ready code. If you have suggestions, I am open to listening... usually.
The site is 7 pages (plus a site map and a page for the legal documents), and has MANY internal "pop-ups" (essentially text boxes that will appear when a link is clicked - instead of taking the user to another page). I have already included in my Photoshop files examples of what the highlighted text will look like, and what the "pop-up" should look like. This is a B2B site, so it is vitally important that it load quickly and function cleanly. It is my first opportunity to make a strong impression on potential clients, so it must be perfect!
There is no sound, no audio and no flash. There is one instance (on the Welcome page) where I may replace the photo with a short (20sec) video loop, but we can discuss the best way to make that fast. I can provide the original Photoshop files, and I will have already inserted all the photos into the .psd files properly formatted to the size and cropping I want. I can provide the original .jpgs if necessary. (All pictures were purchased by me form a stock agency with permission for this use.)
The website includes a "Contact Us" page that includes a form. You will need to create the SQL database to manage all of the data collected in that form, and code it to send me an email with each form's information as it is submitted. I will import the data from the .csv file to my own FileMaker database and/or my contact manager, but I will still need some access to the SQL database for reporting. I will provide a list of all fields, along with their types and any notes or special instructions.
The website also includes a portal to allow my clients to upload their files to my cloud storage. MediaFire has provided the portal, and I may need to replace the one I have with a custom one, however I will make these arrangements while you are working on the rest of the site, and I can put you in touch with MediaFire directly if necessary.
I will be using GoDaddy for my hosting, so it would be useful if you have experience working with them. Once we are moving forward, I will create appropriate access for you to my hosting account so the finished website can be uploaded and tuned.
Separate from this bid, I will discuss with you an ongoing arrangement for you to WebMaster my site, as I simply do not have the time. There may be tweaks and minor adjustments necessary to the content (text),but it is likely that the design and photos will not change.
After I have accepted your bid, I will email you a non-disclosure agreement. Once that is signed, I will send you the Photoshop files and instructions. I will retain all copyrights to the website, however after my site is launched, I have no issue if you wish to include it in your portfolio.
Please feel free to contact me with questions if you require additional details, or indicate in your bid that you still have questions for me.
My timeline expectation is approximately 2 weeks from when I send you the Photoshop files. I would rather it take a little longer and be done RIGHT than it be rushed and have to make corrections. I know exactly what I want, I know exactly what I have designed, and I understand what must be done. I have high expectations and will expect superior quality results.
