I have a current site called www.metrokarate.ca. This was developed by a volunteer very quickly but I am not able to easily make changes to the site.
I would like the site to consist of basic pages including Home / Class Schedule / Events / FAQ / Location / About Us / Links
Things the site does not do but we would like it to do:
(1) I would like to have people be able to sign up for upcoming events such as Free Trial Weeks or training camps or seminars, so that their contact information was gathered and sent to me via email or whatever works best.
(2) I would like to have a pswd protected Members Only area. Not sure how that would be monitored or dealt with but I would like to verify the membership list of people accessing the site every three months, as per our contract lengths to only allow paid in full members to be able to access the members only section.
In that members only section I would like to have:
Testing Page (at the moment that page is visible to everyone and should not be) / Recent Gradings ( a list of people who have tested and what belt level they received / Photo Gallery
(3) A way to list special things on an emergency basis such as closed dates
I think that is all for now. Once the site is complete, I need to be able to make changes myself. I am not an IT person but I can generally follow instructions so I could do it with some direction.
Anyway, that is all I can think of for now.
