Wordpress Web site design

Would like Website to look and function a lot like consumerist-dot-com, particularly the archives section of the site/blog. I'd like the site's content to be paid/subscription based. The visitor to the site would see a summary of the content/blog, but to access the full text/articles they would need to be a paid subscriber. Also, I'd like to add a separate searchable database page for paid subscribers. The searchable database content would not the same as the blog entries. I am (slowly) collecting all the data for the database. I have already purchased a domain name and have uploaded wordpress to the host. I am using godaddy as my providor.
