I am looking for someone to build a responsive website that facilitates the purchasing of a ticket for an event/activity from the supplier of the event whilst taking a percentage cut of the transaction.
The website will facilitate the transaction and take a percentage cut of the ticket sale.
Activity providers or merchants will upload and maintain their activity/events through their portal ( logged in area).
People wishing to purchase these tickets will purchase them through the front end website.
I will also need a way of managing these areas or an admin area that allows me to control content and edit events added by merchants. When required.
The project is still sitting around producing an MVP as i need further research into the market to fully prove that this is worth investment.
I have full website designs for the customer site and for the merchant site.
There are two options for this development, but the choice will be based on the most skilled. I am looking for an ENGLISH based developer(s)
I work with an agency who build and maintain the product. I am keen on a good working relationship and a solid proof of delivering high level products. This will be for a set price initially and then an ongoing maintenance fee can be worked out. As mentioned i already have solid designs, but they will inevitably need tweaking a little upon creation.
If you are looking to make that next move away from freelancing or an agency and wish get into a project that you can own and influence directly, or if you wish to get more involved with a new London based tech startup in the children's leisure and events industry, i would love to hear from you. I already have a great freelance designer on board who stays away from code but has a great understanding of html, bootstrap etc which means i have some great designs sitting waiting for someone to bring to life! If the initial conversation is positive i would like to meet for a coffee to discuss further.
The framework is completely up to you and i would be happy to hear your reasons why you use what you use. They only thing i am enforcing is the use of Braintree as a payment provider. If you think a CMS is necessary then please explain why you agree or disagree.
My priorities are fluidity and seamlessness with a strong focus on UX.
There are three bits to this project
1. Customer website
2. Activity provider log in and management area
3. Admin area for overall control
When applying for this role please state which option interests you.
I want to see examples of projects you have delivered or worked on previously and i want to be able to play with them
Please explain how you would achieve a fluid user experience.
If you are genuinely interested and have read this fully please start with the option that you wish to take and not tweaked generic blurb.
Please get in touch with me through here and lets get to know each other!
